07-5-09 NY Transit Museum: The Future Beneath Us
This exhibit is the brain child of both the New York Transit Museum and the New York Public Library. It gives an in-depth look at eight major projects going on in the New York City area, and how these new ventures will affect the lives of New Yorkers. One of the featured building projects include the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Fulton Transit Center, East Side Access, the extension of the 7 subway line, and the Second Avenue Subway. If you’re curious about the future of this ever changing city, then this exhibit is definitely for you!
